Meghan Markle's first uncredited acting role in sitcom Married with Children pictured

A new picture has emerged showing Meghan Markle in her first uncredited acting role as a young girl in US sitcom Married with Children.

The image, published in the Daily Mail, shows Meghan sitting in the background of the scene in the 1980s iconic show, which her father Thomas Markle worked on as a lighting director.

After appearing as a 'suitcase model' on Deal or No Deal Meghan later got her big break starring as Rachel Zane in the hit Netflix legal drama Suits.

Meghan gave up acting when she married Prince Harry in 2018, however the couple gave up royal duties in 2020 and moved back to her home state, California.

Their relationship with the Royal Family has been rocky ever since, particularly since the revelations made in their documentary series Harry and Meghan and his memoir, Spare.

Meghan has rarely returned to the UK since their relocation, only travelling back for large royal occasions such as the Platinum Jubilee and the Queen's funeral last September.

She was invited to attend King Charles's Coronation in May but she decided to stay behind in Montecito with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, while Harry flew over for a brief visit.

Harry is due to be in the UK again next month for the WellChild Awards on September 7, before going on to Düsseldorf in Germany for the start of the 2023 Invictus Games on September 9.

Meghan will join him in Germany but will avoid travelling to the UK, despite attending the WellChild Awards in 2018 and 2019 along with Harry.

Royal historian Dr Tessa Dunlop told the Mirror that the Duchess has shown her "antipathy" for the UK as she has consistenly chosen not to come here.

It is not thought that Harry or Meghan will meet with the Royal Family while they are in Europe, as the King and Queen will still be in Balmoral during Harry's visit.
