Angela Kelly issues message to 'my friend' the Queen months after moving out of Windsor
Queen Elizabeth's former dresser and close confidante Angela Kelly left the royal household following the monarch's death, and subsequently moved out of her grace-and-favour Windsor home.
Angela Kelly has shared a poignant message to mark the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death, who she worked closely with for over 30 years.
She wrote: "I will never forget you. Will always love you. I miss you my friend."
Ms Kelly shared an old black and white image of the two of them alongside the picture, which comes not long after the former royal dresser left the Windsor estate.
September 8 marks one year since Her Late Majesty died peacefully at Balmoral Castle, at the age of 96, with her two elder children by her side.
Several members of the Royal Family have paid emotional tributes to the monarch, including King Charles, the Waleses and Mike Tindall.

Ms Kelly, 65, had been given a grace-and-favour home on the Windsor estate which she was living in while she worked for Queen Elizabeth, however after she was told she had no future in the royal household she decided to relocate to the Peak District to be nearer her family.
She referred to the move on her Instagram account, writing: "Getting ready to say goodbye. I am moving at last to my new home, which I will be able to call My Home at last."
King Charles provided her with a new home on the understanding that she sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) to prevent her from revealing any more royal details or profiting from her experience as the Queen's dresser.

The former royal staff member has already released two books, Dressing the Queen: The Jubilee Wardrobe in 2012 and The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe in 2019.
However King Charles was said to be unhappy at some of the intimate details published in the books and wished to stop a third being released.
The Queen employed Ms Kelly for over 30 years and the pair developed an extremely close friendship.
The King and Queen Camilla are spending the day privately at Balmoral, where the Queen died, as there will be no public ceremony for the occasion.
He shared a message for the day, saying: "In marking the first anniversary of Her late Majesty’s death and my Accession, we recall with great affection her long life, devoted service and all she meant to so many of us.
"I am deeply grateful, too, for the love and support that has been shown to my wife and myself during this year as we do our utmost to be of service to you all."
