Princess Kate experiences awkward fashion faux pas at Rugby World Cup
The Princess of Wales looked stunning in white as she cheered on England in the Rugby World Cup quarter final in France on Sunday.
Kate, Princess of Wales cheered on England at the Rugby Union World Cup quarterfinals in France on Sunday, watching them sail through into the semi-final.
Witnessing their win against Fiji, Princess Kate stunned in a white Zara blazer, paired with black trousers and a Chanel mini flap bag.
Although she looked amazing, royal fans were quick to spot one thing about the Princess of Wales's look during live footage from the match.
The royal, who attended without husband Prince William, sat next to rugby legend Sir Bill Beaumont and his wife, Lady Hilary Beaumont - who appeared to be wearing the exact same blazer as Kate.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "That lady is wearing the same jacket!"
Another wrote: "Imagine turning up in the same outfit as the Princess of Wales, I'd be thrilled!"
Despite the fashion faux pas, Kate appeared unfazed by the mishap, focusing on the game and seeing England into victory.
Princess Kate was seen chatting away to Sir Bill Beaumont, asking him if he was "still surviving" after all the games that had been played so far.
He replied: "Absolutely", adding that it had been "brilliant" and that he had been to 18 matches.
Although not at the game Kate attended, Prince William was also in France and attended the Wales vs Argentina game on Saturday.
William, however, didn't attend alone - instead surprising royal fans by bringing Prince George to enjoy the sporting action.
Sir Bill Beaumont also asked Kate if their son had enjoyed watching the previous day's game with his dad.
Kate replied that he had enjoyed it, adding that "he loved it so much".
