Mike Tindall has Royal Family fans in frenzy as he hints he could quit UK for Australia
Mike and Zara Tindall have been getting some winter sun Down Under, as the former rugby player said he would "never say never" to a permanent move there.
A cryptic comment made by Mike Tindall has left royal watchers speculating over whether his family could start a new life in Australia.
Mike and his wife Zara are currently in the country following their attendance at the Magic Millions Carnival and the Magic Millions Racing Achievement Awards on the Gold Coast last Saturday, January 6.
Zara is a patron of Magic Millions, an Australian Thoroughbred racehorse auction house which hosts events throughout the year, most famously the Gold Coast Yearling Sale at Surfers Paradise in January.
The couple still found time to chill out in their favourite destination, as pictures emerged of them looking loved-up as they splashed around in the summer surf.
Last February at the Legends of Rugby Awards Mike hinted that he wouldn't rule out moving to Australia permanently, as he told Hello! magazine he would "never say never".

He said: "It's not on the cards, people try to say we almost did but we never almost did. It's never been an actual thing where we've looked for a house or anything.
''We love Australia a lot and we love the lifestyle, I think it's brilliant for kids but whether we could actually move there, we're not sure."
The Tindalls were clearly thrilled to be back at the carnival, having not been able to attend since 2020 due to the travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mike said: "It's lovely to have a break from the bleak January in the UK. It's nice to come back down and see all our friends again. We love the ambassadors and we love getting together."
Zara added that returning to the event was like "coming home", saying: "It really is like a family and it's been hard not being here for two years."
The professional equestrian even partook in a game of polo at the carnival, which was also attended by fellow celebrities Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky.
Australia will always have a particularly special place in Mike and Zara's hearts, as they first met there in 2003 when Mike was there playing with the England rugby team during the World Cup.
After nearly eight years of dating the couple married in Edinburgh in July 2011 and have since welcomed three children together, daughters Mia and Lena and son Lucas.
The family currently reside on the Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, with the main house being owned by Zara's mother Princess Anne.
