Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's ‘influence has become fragile’ in the US
EXCLUSIVE The year has just begun and the Sussexes are already in the red, says royal expert Kinsey Schofield, who claimed they have a lot of catching up to do in 2024.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's influence is waning in the United States, a royal commentator has claimed.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still making headlines, but in some cases, US media outlets are no longer referring to them by their royal titles.
Speaking to Daily Express US, Ms Schofield said: “There is no doubt that their influence has become fragile.”
The couple were once again the butt of the joke during the Golden Globes as host Jo Koy poked fun at them - previously, the Sussexes were mocked on South Park and Family Guy, as well as Primetime TV in the US.
All of the ridicule appears to be taking its toll on the Sussexes' "influence" in their adopted home, according to Ms Schofield.

She claimed: “They are desperate to be taken seriously or be some type of authority figure.”
The royal expert said she has noticed US media outlets dropping their titles and then mysteriously adding them back in.
She said: “You'll notice that American media outlets are starting to refer to them as simply Harry and Meghan over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

The royal expert claimed: “After a media outlet working with the Sussexes' team posts an article or link, there are often updates made to change their names to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with speculation that Harry and Meghan's team have followed up and asked for those changes to be made.”
Ms Schofield even went as far as to offer some advice to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, she said: “I think their best bet is to go away for a little while.”
She claimed: “Harry and Meghan are overexposed and have failed so much in the public eye. Give people a chance to forget.”
