Prince William was left 'mortified' by Prince Harry's betrayal of their brotherly secrets
Prince William is not thought to have read Prince Harry's Spare - but has been made aware of some included details.
Prince William was reportedly left "mortified" by Prince Harry's betrayal of their shared brotherly secrets, a newly-released royal book claims.
In his bombshell memoir Spare, which was released last January, Harry alleged that a physical fight broke out between him and his elder brother Prince William.
The confrontation is said to have taken place at the Duke of Sussex's home in London in 2019, not long before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to quit as senior working royals.
Describing the fight, Harry claimed his brother referred to his wife Meghan Markle as "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive".
Since the release of Spare, and the descriptive details of the alleged fight being made public, William was said to have been left feeling "mortified".

According to royal author Robert Hardman's new book, Charles III: New King, New Court. The Inside Story': "On top of all the other breaches of trust, here was Harry making a blatant attack on Catherine. For William, this was the lowest of the low."
It was also thought that "Harry [was] shooting his mouth off" with another round of scattergun assertions and thoughtless allegations.
It comes over a year after Harry detailed the confrontation in his memoir, where he wrote: "[William] grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and... knocked me to the floor."
During the row, Harry also accused his brother of being a "parrot of the press narrative" about his wife Meghan.
The meeting was called as Harry apparently wanted to meet to talk with his brother about "the whole rolling catastrophe" of their relationship and the struggles with the press.
The book claims that William believes Harry's digs at Princess Kate were "the lowest of the low".
Speaking of his sister-in-law, Harry claimed that Kate "grimaced" after Meghan previously asked to borrow her lipgloss.
Harry wrote: "Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube. Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced."

Tabloids previously claimed that Kate was supposedly left in tears over a much-reported disagreement about bridesmaid dresses ahead of Meghan and Harry's wedding in 2018.
However, Meghan later claimed - via their interview with Oprah Winfrey - that she was the one who cried.
Harry wrote in Spare that Kate visited the following day with flowers and a card to apologise - a detail that was also spoken of by Meghan in the Oprah interview.
