Royal revealed as 'glue' holding family together as three members 'fall off the top'
The Royal Family may be facing issues after King Charles and Princess Kate were hospitalised - but there is one senior royal who holds them all together, a royal expert has claimed.
Princess Anne has been labelled the royal "glue" holding King Charles's slimmer monarchy together, after the latest health bombshells that took three senior royals "off the top".
The Royal Family is bracing for a tough couple of months as they try to juggle the workload ahead.
On Wednesday afternoon Kensington Palace announced that Princess Kate had been admitted to hospital the day before for a successful and planned abdominal procedure, which would require her to stay there for up to 14 days and also be absent from royal duties until after Easter.
Meanwhile, Prince William was said to have postponed his royal engagements too so he can be by his wife's side and support their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Shortly afterwards, Buckingham Palace announced King Charles would be undergoing surgery for an enlarged prostate next week.

Charles is understood to have postponed a number of engagements while he has the procedure but will adopt a "business as usual" approach as, according to reports, he is expected to continue with all his affairs of state while recovering.
But concerns were raised over who would step in to help juggle the workload with three major Firm members "falling off the top".
By law, every monarch enlists their Counsellors of State to represent them or undertake their duties in the case of illness or absence abroad.
The Counsellors of State include the monarch's spouse and the next four people in the line of succession who are over the age of 21.
At the moment, these are Queen Camilla, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice.

In late 2022, Charles proposed that his siblings, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, be named additional Counsellors of State too.
Now a royal expert dubbed the Princess Royal the glue that holds the royals together suggested that she is needed amid the health crisis.
Angela Levin told the Sun: "You can rely on Princess Anne 100 percent. She would work extremely hard. Edward and his wife would also do a lot but I don't think the King will be out for long.
Camilla has already said he can't wait to get back to work."
She added: "I find it extremely worrying because in a way the Royal Family is a connection to your own family, you know how they progress, you know when a baby has arrived.
"To see three of them fall off the top is very very difficult. The late Queen always felt she had to be seen to be believed and if you can't see the three people at the top it's difficult.
"You feel very disjointed from it all. I was very concerned that maybe Harry would be next in charge to stand in for the King, this is what I always hoped would never happen."
