Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tipped to 'spring surprises' on William and Kate
The relationship between the two couples has seemingly broken down since Harry and Meghan quit as senior working members of the Royal Family.
Meghan Markle 'right' to use her royal title in business venture
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could "spring surprises" on Prince William and Princess Kate in an attempt at repairing relations, a royal expert has claimed.
Last month, the Princess of Wales made the heartbreaking announcement she had been diagnosed with cancer, leading royal commentators to suggest this challenging time for the Royal Family could offer a chance at reconciliation for Harry and William's strained relationship.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reported to have "reached out" privately to William and Kate once they heard the news, and one royal commentator believes the most suitable route to repairing relations would be to do so behind closed doors.
Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun: "The best way of resolving the rift, if it is to be resolved, is to do it privately. With Catherine and the King's illness - that is an enormous game changer even when there are deep family rifts.
"The two very senior members of the Royal Family, are very, are seriously ill, and you can't really predict what's going to happen. So, as I say, the Sussexes do spring surprises. This has happened before, and you never know what might happen in the coming weeks or months."

Meghan Markle on the cusp of dramatic U-turn over major fear for Archie and Lilibet
Meghan Markle's fears over bringing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet back to Britain could spark a U-turn over their planned upcoming UK trip.
She and Prince Harry were expected to attend the Invictus Games 10th-anniversary celebration at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8, with some suggesting they could bring their children.
However, a source told OK! magazine: "It's now got to the point where Meghan doesn't want to come to the UK with the children. She just doesn't feel safe.
"The situation is now about whether the family should attend with increased security or Harry should go it alone."
Reason Meghan 'doesn't feel guilty' about royal split revealed
A royal author has claimed that Meghan Markle "doesn't feel guilty" about her split with Princess Kate for a key reason.
Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn said: "Megan doesn't feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should've been the one person in the Royal Family to back her against every difficulty."
He added:
"Apart from anything else, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn't understand why Kate always towed the Royal line rather than supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider."
Despite Meghan being taken aback by Kate's recent cancer diagnosis, Quinn doubts it will mend their fractured relationship.

Meghan Markle in 'good place' with new brand and tipped to go from 'strength to strength'
Meghan Markle has found a new sense of empowerment as she ventures into independent projects, according to an expert.
The Duchess of Sussex, who launched her lifestyle brand 'American Riviera Orchard' last month, has been described by a body language expert as now feeling "empowered" to take on more projects independently.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, body language expert Darren Stanton remarked that the former actress has finally discovered "the right path" for herself, with her resilience having developed during recent years.
Prince Harry 'torn' between Meghan Markle and Princess Kate and feels huge 'loss'
Prince Harry is "torn" between his relationship with Meghan Markle and sister-in-law Princess Kate, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex, who previously acclaimed the Princess of Wales as "the sister I've never had and always wanted" in his memoir Spare, has seen his bond with her suffer following his and Meghan's split from the Royal Family.
But Harry also made several damning claims against both Princess Kate and his brother, Prince William in his book that was released in January 2023.
Royal author Tom Quinn believes these current circumstances will be causing the Duke of Sussex to reflect on his deteriorated relationship with Princess Kate.
Meghan legal headache continues as sister Samantha launches fresh court bid
Meghan Markle's legal headache is continuing after her half-sister Samantha Markle launched a fresh appeal against a ruling made to dismiss a defamation case against the Duchess of Sussex.
Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell decided to dismiss the case which Samantha brought over comments made by Meghan during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021
But Samantha Markle has now appealed the decision. If a judge rules in her favour, the previous ruling to dismiss the case would be overturned.
A court filing seen by Newsweek read: "Notice is hereby given that the Plaintiff, Samantha M. Markle, by and through her undersigned counsel, appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from the Order Granting Defendants, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, Motion to Dismiss entered by the Honorable Charlene Edwards Honeywell on March 12, 2024."
Meghan Markle's new business brutally mocked as insider issues savage two-word dig
Meghan Markle is determined to make her new business venture a success as the fortune she has accumulated with Prince Harry may be "disappearing fast", a royal expert has claimed.
Last month, the Duchess of Sussex launched her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, with an Instagram page already amassing more than 500,000 followers.
As of 2023, the couple's net worth is estimated to be around £48 million ($60 million) following bumper deals with Netflix and Spotify, as well as the proceeds from Harry's memoir Spare.
But royal author Tom Quinn believes the couple's lifestyle could be taking its toll on their bank balance, meaning American Riviera Orchard has to make waves.

Prince Archie looks identical to his father Prince Harry in a sweet photo from their Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have largely kept their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet out of the spotlight.
However, fans of the Sussexes got a glimpse of the adorable duo in the couple's Netflix docuseries from December 2022.
In a series of personal photos, Harry and Meghan chose to show off Archie - with many pointing out how much he looked like Harry.
Major clue Meghan Markle won't join Prince Harry in the UK next month
Meghan Markle is unlikely to join Prince Harry in the UK next month because if she was going to make the trip with him, it would already be known, a royal expert claimed.
Charles Rae told GB News: "I believe it, when I see it, when I see her step off that plane. I do not believe she will be here, I think too much has gone on."
He added: "You would’ve thought if she was serious about coming here — we know Harry is coming — you would’ve thought if she was serious about coming here, we would’ve already known she was coming here.
"I’m skeptical she’s ever going to step foot in this country again."
Prince Harry will only bring Meghan Markle, Archie and Lilibet to UK on one condition
Prince Harry is only willing to bring Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK next month on one condition, according to a report.
The Duke of Sussex is expected to a special service at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8, marking the 10th anniversary of his highly successful Invictus Games.
Meghan has been a staunch supporter of the event and joined Harry on a trip to Canada in February to promote the 2025 Games, set to take place in Vancouver and Whistler next year.
But doubts persist over whether Meghan, Archie and Lilibet will join him for next month's event in London and according to The Telegraph, one issue prevents the Duke of Sussex from bringing his family to the UK - unless something changes.
Harry and Meghan 'just another celebrity couple' with 'nothing to sell' - expert
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to ride on the royal coattails because without that connection, they are of no interest, a royal expert has claimed.
Rupert Bell recently appeared on Talk TV’s Heirs and Spares, and said: "They say, ‘We don’t want to be part of the Royal Family.' You just need to look at their website, everything indicates that they are hanging onto the royal coattails."
The couple launched a new website - www.sussex.com - which has Meghan’s coat of arms and their royal titles emblazoned on all five pages.
But Bell added: "And Prince Harry says we don’t want that, but without it, they have nothing to sell because, suddenly, if they don’t have that royal connection, then what are they? They are just another celebrity couple."
