Prince Harry and Meghan Markle blasted over Nigeria trip
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's trip to Africa has left Nigerians feeling "betrayed by the government" with their recent trip to the country, it has been claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on a three-day trip to the country last weekend to promote mental health for soldiers and empower young people.
The trip marked the couple's first visit to Nigeria together, after being invited to the West African nation by its military.
But the country's secretary general of the National Youth Alliance, Tonye Inoriebo, claimed their visit made the public feel betrayed by the government as Nigeria is faced with socio-economic challenges.
Speaking on TalkTV, Mr Inoriebo said: "In Nigeria, we feel disappointed, abandoned and betrayed."

He added: "We feel that the government is not challenged. They only used the media for publicity, but they are abandoning the crucial challenges of Nigeria.
"As I'm talking to you now, a lot of Nigerians went to bed last night hungry. These people are starving."
Host Alex Phillips also slammed the Montecito couple's juxtaposition after behaving like "they're in Hollywood" in a country facing severe economic and humanitarian problems.
Mr Inoriebo agreed saying there are still people in Nigeria being held in captivity by kidnappers among other things.
