Mike Tindall reveals what Zara's birthday celebrations were really like in sweet insight
Mike Tindall says he and wife Zara Tindall enjoyed a "very nice day" when Princess Anne's daughter marked her 43rd birthday.
Mike Tindall has shared a sweet insight into how he and Zara Tindall celebrated the royal's 43rd birthday.
Princess Anne's daughter marked her special day on Tuesday, May 14, with husband Mike telling Good Morning Britain the couple enjoyed a "lovely day".
Asked by GMB co-host Kate Garraway how they celebrated, Mike said: "We had a lovely day. She had to ride in the morning, but then we went out for lunch and then we just hung out all day and had a few friends over in the evening. It was a very, very nice day."
The former England rugby union player joked it was probably why he had a "quieter" night last night because he might have "had a few" the night before.
Mike appeared on the ITV show to promote the SPS Handa Celebrity Golf Classic Tournament, which raises money for the Cure Parkinson's Charity and the Matt Hampson Foundation.
An ambassador for the event, Mike today uploaded a new photo to social media in which he and Zara posed in matching pink outfits outside the Belfry Hotel and Resort in Sutton Coldfield.
Dressed in fuschia pink golfing garb, the Tindalls look lovingly at each other in the image, which Mike captioned: "I finally convinced Zara to stop practicing her putting and have a photo with me!"
Mike, speaking of the event, said: "The Handa Foundation deals with people who go through catastrophic injury through sport.
"We also support Cure Parkinson's, which my dad has had for 20 years, and over the 11 years we've managed to put 1.7 million into the charity fund for those two charities."
The Tindalls looked loved up in another photo taken at the Badminton Horse Trials last week, with Mike leaning in to his wife for a kiss during day two of the equestrian event at the Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire.
