Prince Harry's old Etonian and army friends do not visit him because some of them have disagreements with his wife, Meghan Markle, a royal commentator has claimed.

This comes as Prince Harry is determined to find his home in the UK, after being evicted out of his and his wife's former royal home, Frogmore Cottage, after the publication of Harry's bombshell memoir, Spare.

Royal commentator, Tom Quinn, told the Mirror: "He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan. As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles."

Harry has lived in Montecito, California with his wife, the Duchess of Sussex since 2020 after they announced they were quitting their jobs as working royals and moving across the pond. Although they kept their UK home Frogmore Cottage for a few years, they were eventually asked to vacate the property last year. In his memoir, Spare, Harry revealed how sad he was at having to leave Frogmore Cottage, his and Meghan's Windsor home, when the family relocated to Montecito.

Harry wrote in his memoir of Frogmore: "Once upon a time, this was going to be my forever home. Instead, it had proved to be just another brief stop." The couple were gifted Frogmore Cottage in 2019 by Queen Elizabeth II, and paid for an extensive renovation independently after initially using taxpayers' money and then repaying it. However, their time in the five-bedroom house was short-lived.

We spoke to royal biographer Andrew Lownie about whether or not Andrew can come back from his string of scandals, with him saying: “Think of Fergie, she’s the comeback queen, she keeps being caught doing naughty things, and she still comes back, there she is, back in the royal fold.”
