Princess Kate breaks cover as she makes her way to church at Balmoral
Princess Kate joined her husband Prince William as they made their way to church on the Balmoral estate.
Princess Kate has been snapped on her way to Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral estate today, August 25.
The Princess of Wales looked in good spirits as she was driven to church by her husband, Prince William, sporting a tawny Holland Cooper full length marlborough trench coat topped off with a hat and feathers.
Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, joined the couple as they sat in the front row – the first time they have been to church at Crathie, where the Royal Family have worshipped since Queen Victoria purchased the estate over one hundred years ago.
Princess Anne and her husband Timothy Laurence, Prince Edward and Sophie as well as King Charles and Queen Camila were in attendance. However, there was no sign of Prince Andrew who is staying in the late Queen's favourite cottage on the estate, Craigowan, with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
The outing marks only the third time this year that the Princess of Wales, 42, has made a public appearance, as she continues to focus on her recovery from cancer.

The first was in June when Kate joined the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony for Trooping the Colour. That appearance was followed by the Princess of Wales taking her daughter Princess Charlotte, 9, and sister, Pippa Matthews, 40, to the Men's singles final at Wimbledon in July.
Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles have been undergoing treatment for undisclosed types of cancer since the beginning of the year. Although the princess has been keeping a rather low profile while she recovers, King Charles has been conducting.a number of public engagements, including a visit last week to families affected by the Southport stabbings.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are residing in a cottage on the Balmoral estate known as Tam-Na-Ghar, which was gifted to William by his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.
The Wales family currently split most of their time between Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, and Anmer Hall, their country home on the King's Sandringham estate in Norfolk. But Tam-Na-Ghar holds particularly happy memories for Princess Kate and Prince William, a spot they visited often when they were dating.

Prince William and Princess Kate, who met while they were students at St Andrews in the early Noughties, spent a lot of time together at Tam-Na-Ghar away from the prying eyes of the public.
The three-bedroom house is nestled on the 50,000-acre Balmoral estate and surrounded by greenery making it the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet.
The property is also close to another summer royal residence, King Charles’s Birkhall, which lies along the River Muick, and is where the King and Queen are currently in residence.
Other members of the Royal Family staying on the estate this year include the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh's children Lady Louise Windsor, 19, and James, Earl of Wessex, 16.
Queen Camilla's children along with her grandchildren have also joined in the fun this year.
Queen Camilla is a very proud grandmother of five. Her son, Tom Parker Bowles, has Lola, 16, and Freddy, 14, and her daughter, Laura Lopes, has Eliza, 16, and 14-year-old twins, Louis and Gus have all been staying at Balmoral Castle for the past two weeks.
