Prince Harry enjoys night out with the boys as he hosts dinner at private members' club
HE'S BEEN busy with a number of royal appointments recently, but Prince Harry decided to let his hair down last night when he hosted a low-key night out for friends at a private members' club in London.
The young royal, who is said to be preparing to pop the question to girlfriend Cressida Bonas later this year, was seen making his way into the Arts Club in Mayfair where he is said to have hosted an intimate dinner for some of his closes friends.
According to EntertainmentWise, the 29-year-old enjoyed the company of rugby star James Haskell, while Made In Chelsea star Mark Francis was also seen leaving the club later in the evening.
Cressida, however, was noticeably absent from the dinner, with a source telling the website: "Cressida wasn't there but a lot of his rugby friends were as well as a few others, it was just a quiet little night."
It was even revealed that the party shunned champagne and caviar and opted for a more simple menu of chicken and chips, which they washed down with white wine.
Harry looked smart for the event, opting for a pair of dark denim jeans, a crisp white shirt and a navy blazer.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice was also spotted in the City last night as she enjoyed a meal at the trendy new eatery, the Chiltern Firehouse.
The red-haired royal looked effortlessly chic in a monochrome boucle jacket and a black mini skirt, which she teamed with pair of studded pumps and a stylish Celine handbag.
She was in great spirits as she exited the Marlybone restaurant, which saw Lily Allen and Kate Moss visit earlier in the week.
