London bloodbath: Boy, 14, stabbed in broad daylight on Lewisham High Street
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was stabbed in south London this afternoon, as the capital’s knife crime epidemic continues to spiral out of control.

The teenager was rushed to hospital following the attack on Lewisham High Street at about 3.45pm. Police swooped in and arrested three males in connection with the knifing. The 14-year-old’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “Officers attended and found a 14-year-old boy suffering stab injuries. The boy has been taken to a south London hospital.
“Officers do not believe his condition is life-threatening, but await a full assessment.
“Three males were arrested at the scene in relation to the incident and a large knife has been recovered. A crime scene remains in place.”
The attack comes after four people were killed in as many days in suspected murders in London.
Last Friday, Cheyon Evans, 18, was found stabbed in Wandsworth, south-west London, and died at the scene.
In the second killing later that day, Eniola Aluko, 19, was shot dead in Plumstead, south-east London.
On Saturday a man in his 30s was stabbed to death in Tower Hamlets, east London, just before 2pm.
And a man in his 40s was stabbed to death in Stratford, east London, in the early hours of Monday.

Speaking on Monday, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said: “We’ve had four days and four homicides in London, we’ve seen over the last five years an increase in violent crime across our country and it’s not acceptable.
“That’s one of the reasons why City Hall, even though there’s been massive cuts from central government, have continued to invest in our police.”
