I'm taking this stool for a spin
HE could be a salesman demonstrating the latest high-tech stool for a trendy bar, but Honda president Takanobu Ito’s latest toy is much more practical than that.

The stumpy unicycle is battery driven and to ride it you simply lean in the direction you want to go and the machine does the rest, maintaining its own balance as it crawls along at up to 3.7mph.
The portable u3-X weighs just under 22lbs and its single wheel is made up of scores of tiny motor- controlled wheels, allowing it to move in any direction, even sideways.
But don’t leap out of your seat to buy it. Honda has no plans for it to hit the market.
