M5: Lorry burns on hard shoulder in Gloucestershire
There are huge tailbacks as the motorway in Gloucestershire has been shut between junction 9 for Tewkesbury and junction 12 for Hardwicke. Traffic is worst northbound with seven miles of jams from junction 12 to the fire, which is reportedly near junction 11a. There are three miles of queues southbound.

Diversions are in place along the A38 and A4019, leaving those routes congested, Gloucestershire Live says.
Highways England tweeted: "The road is now fully CLOSED in both directions between J9 (#Tewkesbury) and J11 (#Cheltenham) due to the ongoing lorry fire. There are severe delays in the area, with 7 miles of congestion northbound and 3 miles southbound. Please allow extra time for your journey."
Normal driving conditions are not expected to resume until 5pm.
Photos show smoke billowing from the HGV across the motorway. It is unclear if anyone has been injured in the blaze.
At least two fire engines are thought to be in attendance near the main exit for Gloucester.
Other local roads, including the A417, are busy due to the closure.
