London stabbing: Two Police officers and 61-year-old attacked in Wood Green
TWO METROPOLITAN Police officers and a 61-year-old man have been assaulted in Wood Green, north London.
Two police officers and one man have been admitted to hospital following an incident on Noel Park Road at around 7.20pm on Friday night.
The force said the 61-year-old man sustained “stab injuries” and one of the officers suffered "slash injuries".
In a statement Met police said: “Whilst in a communal area, a man approached the officers before assaulting them and the 61-year-old man who was with them.
“All three remain in hospital receiving treatment.
“A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault; two other people were subsequently arrested as part of the investigation.

“All three remain in custody.”
The force added a crime scene remains in place in the area.
Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
