Police in face-off at London anti-vax protest
POLICE formed a human blockade yesterday and came face-to-face with anti-lockdown and anti-Covid vaccination protesters.
Officers stepped in when a large crowd, demonstrating against vaccination passports and jabs for teenagers, gathered at London Bridge.
They lined up outside the entrance to the News Building, which is the headquarters of The Sun and The Times publisher News UK. The site had to be closed for several hours.
Figures from theVaccine Confidence Project have previously indicated levels of vaccine hesitancy are falling among younger age groups and the campaign against giving them Covid jabs in the UK is small compared to other countries.
Meanwhile Office for National Statistics figures show that just six percent of British adults reported being hesitant to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
