A DOUBLE DECKER BUS was involved in a blaze in Bradford this morning as two fire appliances respond to the incident, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue has said.

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service revealed an incident involving a double decker bus occurred at Stirling Crescent, Bradford at 3.19am. The incident, which was noted as a vehicle blaze, required a response from two fire appliances.

A description released by West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said: "Two fire appliances from Bradford Fire Station responded to a fire involving a double decker bus forming part of a children’s playground. Two breathing apparatus, two hose reels, one large jet used to extinguish fire." Crew members from Bradford Fire Station were listed as those in attendance.
