Council pays £275,000 to sort out squabbles
A TROUBLESHOOTER has been hired to sort out a council on the equivalent of £275,000 a year.
David Bowles’s job is to stop members of Anglesey County Council in North Wales bickering.
The council has been paying an agency £1,160 a day for him since September.
After a Freedom of Information disclosure, council leader Clive McGregor said: “I’m glad that we’ve been able to publish these details. We can now concentrate on supporting Mr Bowles’s continued good work.”
