Major motorway to close again for new bridge installation as part of £317m refurbishment
Cobham Services will be affected by the latest stretch of the M25 closing to traffic as work continues on a £317m refurb.
A major motorway is going to shut again with a stretch closed to motorists and diversions in place. Motorists are being warned part of the M25 will be closed so engineers can install a new bridge deck in June.
It forms part of a £317million infrastructure project and comes after the M25 saw its first closure during the day in March.
That was to allow workers to do planned repair work. The route circling Greater London is undergoing a massive refurbishment.
The daytime closure saw a five-mile-long stretch of the M25 close in both directions between Junctions 10 and 11.
It closed for an entire weekend, but National Highways has said this next closure will be overnight and at a different stretch.

A National Highways spokesperson said between 9pm on Saturday, June 8, and 9am on Sunday, June 9, the westbound carriageway of the M25 between Junctions 9 and 10 will close. This includes Cobham Services.
They added this is to install a new bridge deck over the eastbound gyratory.
The eastbound carriageway will also be closed on the M25 at J10 during the same time with a diversion via the exit slip, roundabout and entry slip road where motorists will be able to re-join the M25, according to National Highways.
Motorists have been urged not to use a sat nav when following any of the planned diversions due to the risk of being directed down an unsuitable road or back onto the route at a point where it's still closed.
Further dates for three more closures at Junction 10 and 11 haven't been announced yet, but they are expected before September.
