Key to diet ‘is not big breakfast’
EXPERTS now doubt that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially for those dieting.
A study on 300 people, published in Nutrition Journal by the Else-Kröner-Fresenius Center, in Germany, refutes previous findings.
Head researcher at the centre, Dr Volker Schusdziarra said: “People ate the same at lunch and dinner, regardless of what they had for breakfast.”

The team claim a large breakfast must be counteracted by eating substantially less during the day.
