That should turn a few heads! Giant Mr Darcy statue appears in the Serpentine
IT is a truth acknowledged in a new poll that Colin Firth’s lake scene from the BBC’s 1995 Pride And Prejudice is the most memorable moment in British TV drama.
Now it has been recreated in a 12ft statue in Hyde Park’s Serpentine, London, above.
The Mr Darcy sculpture – made for new TV channel Drama – will, after a tour, be installed in Lyme Park, Cheshire, where the TV classic was filmed.
