Tiny adorable kitten found abandoned on London Underground tube
A TINY adorable kitten that is only around four-weeks-old has been found abandoned on a London Underground train at Victoria station.
A passenger discovered the cute cat left in a box on Monday night and took the cat, which has been nicknamed Victoria, to customer services.
The kitten was arranged to be brought to a nearby animal hospital by Tube worker Sue Cooper so the animal could be checked by vets.
She was found to be covered in an unknown substance that clinged to her fur but nurses cleaned the kitten up and she appeared to be well.
Nurses at the hospital run by charity Blue Cross have been hand feeding the kitten and providing it 24 hour care.
A spokesperson said: "It is a mystery as to why she was left on her own, without her mum or possible littermates.
"Little Victoria is certainly one of the most unusual items of 'lost property' handed in to London Underground."
