Shop owner was told by police that her thief suspicions were just a mouse
A RAIDER who chiselled through a wall to steal cash is on the run – after police told the shop’s suspicious owner that she was just hearing a mouse.
Tiffany Spears, 22, saw the hole from the empty cafe next door getting bigger over several weeks and told local cops.
She even complained she had seen someone peering at her from the hole that led to her convenience store.
“They called me a joker, they suggested I’d seen a ghost, or maybe a mouse,” she said.

“I even started to doubt myself.
“I’ve worked here in the knowledge that someone is watching me, waiting for their chance.
"It’s terrifying.”
Early Monday morning CCTV cameras captured an intruder squeezing through and stealing £100 cash from the Best One shop in Fleetwood, Lancs.
Lancashire Constabulary said it was investigating the theft and lack of support.
