Many tweeted singer Gary Barlow about their winnings after David Mullins rode the horse – owned by Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary and trained by Mouse Morris – to victory at odds of 33-1 at Aintree on Saturday.
Williams, who left the band before they released the song in 2007, won £700, tweeting: “Twenty quid each way 'rule the world' grand national. GET IN !!!!!!!!!!!”

Anna Marie was among fans who contacted Barlow: “Massive thanks to you, just won £288.”
Some plunged their winnings into tickets for the boys’ concert at Hyde Park this summer.
