Video: Queen tells Berlusconi to pipe down
THE QUEEN has been caught on camera giving Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi a telling off for being too loud.
As our video shows, Her Majesty was apparently not amused when Mr Berlusconi shouted nosily during an official photograph for the G20 leaders at Buckingham Palace.
Elizabeth II is seen holding her hands up in mock exasperation after he boomed "Mr Obama" to the American President.
Barack Obama replied "Mr Berlusconi" in a quieter voice, before the Queen turned around to show her irritation to the Italian premier.
She said: "What is it? Why does he have to shout?"
Footage of the moment has already become a hit on video-sharing site You Tube - with nearly 25,000 people tuning in to view the video already.
This is not the first time Berlusconi has made a gaffe at a high-profile event. Last year he was filmed playing hide and seek with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
And he was criticised for calling Obama "young, handsome and tanned".
A Palace spokesperson denied there was any tension at the photo-shoot, describing the reception as "warm and friendly".
