Andrew Neil savages 'weak' Joe Biden and demands he 'stop pussy-footing around' with Iran
Andrew Neil claims that Joe Biden is in his "worst nightmare - entirely of his own making".
In a scathing critique, Andrew Neil has taken aim at the Biden administration's handling of the escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly regarding Iranian-backed attacks on US military bases.
Since Hamas's invasion of Israel on October 7th, a staggering 160 attacks by various Iranian-backed proxy militias have targeted US military installations across the region.
The latest incident occurred at Tower 22, a US outpost in northeast Jordan, resulting in the tragic loss of three American personnel and leaving over 30 others injured, some critically.

Former GB News and BBC presenter Neil highlighted what he described as a "remarkable" lack of response from the Biden administration despite the mounting attacks over the past four months.
He said: "US retaliation has been half-hearted and ineffective. Far from being deterred from further attacks, the Iranian proxies have been emboldened."
Neil also suggested that President Biden's reluctance to confront Iranian aggression directly is a strategic error, potentially stemming from concerns about triggering a wider regional conflict, particularly in the midst of an election year.
"This is President Biden’s worst nightmare — and it is entirely of his own making", he claimed.

Drawing parallels with historical instances of appeasement, he warned that failing to confront the Iranian threat head-on may ultimately necessitate a more significant and costly response in the future.
Neil declared that he believed Biden "needs to stop pussy-footing around with Iran. The mullahs see a weak, distracted president who lets them get away with murder (now, literally). He needs to disabuse them of that pronto."
Neil further called for a reevaluation of the administration's approach, urging President Biden to adopt a tougher stance against Tehran. Suggestions include targeting leaders of the Iran Revolutionary Guard Counsel's Quds Force and sending explicit warnings of consequences for further attacks on US personnel.
