Taxpayers poo-poo video
A YouTube video featuring a woman slipping and falling on dog poo has cost taxpayers £5,449.
The film clip is part of a campaign being run by a council in Australia, which is urging people to 'pick up after your pooch'.
It shows a woman passing a dog walker on a beach-side esplanade when she stumbles into the droppings.
During her attempt to clean off the mess she trips and falls on her back. The video ends with the words 'please pick up after your pooch'.
Port Phillip council has defended spending the money on the clip that is part of a wider video campaign.
Mayor Frank O'Connor said: "You get to have a bit of a laugh as well. Sometimes that can help."
