Iran warns over nuclear ambitions
The president of Iran has said that not even 100,000 UN Security Council resolutions will stop his country's nuclear ambitions.
The semi-official Fars news agency said Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the remarks during a meeting with a group of journalists in the capital Tehran.
Iran has hardened its position on its nuclear programme ahead of talks with world powers in Istanbul, Turkey, on January 21 and 22. Tehran said it will refuse to talk about its right to enrich uranium.
Uranium enrichment, a technology which can be used to produce nuclear fuel or materials for a warhead, lies at the heart of Iran's dispute with the West.
The US and some of its allies have accused Iran of seeking to develop a nuclear weapons capability, a charge the country denies.
