Second day of Iran test missiles
Iran has test-fired medium and long-range missiles in the Persian Gulf for a second day.
Thursday's missiles were reported to have "special capabilities" and were launched throughout the night.
On Wednesday Iran test-fired at least nine missiles, including ones capable of hitting Israel.
Iranian officials said the tests aimed to show Iran's readiness to strike back if attacked by the United States or Israel.
US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice has warned Iran that the United States will not back down in the face of threats against Israel.
Ms Rice said on Thursday, at the close of a three-day eastern European trip, that the US would defend its interests and allies.
