Rio de Janeiro cycleway collapses into sea months before Olympics
BRAZILIAN authorities are desperately searching for casualties after part of a cycleway built ahead of the Rio Olympics collapsed into the sea.

Five people are currently missing after the incident, according to Brazilian media.
Some unconfirmed reports say two people have died.
The bridge collapsed late morning local time, with about 50m of the pathway crumbling into the shoreline.
Images from Rio de Janeiro show a huge gap between sections of the elevated bicycle lane, which overlooks the sea front.
The incident comes as the Brazilian seaside city prepares to host tho summer's Olympic games.
No sporting events were planned for the bike lane, which opened earlier this year.
