Strictly Come Dancing 2018: Darcey Bussell has NIGHTMARE night with bra AND knickerflash
STRICTLY COME DANCING contestants took to the stage for another chance to impress the judges on Saturday night. However, one judge seemed to shock viewers with their fashion choices as they revealed a little too much.
Strictly: Darcey Bussell suffers wardrobe malfunction
Darcey, 49, joined her fellow judges to critique the second batch of Strictly Come Dancing dances as the celebrities took to the dance floor.
However, Darcey distracted BBC viewers at it appeared she had chosen to wear a rather revealing garment for the second live episode.
Viewers were quick to notice Darcey’s fashion faux pas’ as the judge cricked the 15 celebrities on their dances as they tried to avoid elimination.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to air their shock at Darcey’s choice of clothing, as the judge’s bra could also be seen under the bright studio lights.
Darcey wore a dark purple patterned dress for the evening’s performances, with the top of the garment being slightly see-through.
Although it may not have been evident in person, the bright lights managed to reveal Darcey’s under garments to the audience at home.
Eagle eyed viewers would’ve been able to make out a dark bra under Darcey’s dress as the semi-sheer dress did not blend with the colour of the under garment.
The top of the dress was decorated with a floral pattern and revealed some flesh underneath the clothing.
Viewers were also quick to address the issue and took to Twitter to air their shock at the apparent blunder.
Didn’t need that knicker flash on the walk on! #Strictly
One viewer wrote: “Oh Darcey Bush-ell! Didn’t need that knicker flash on the walk on! #Strictly.”
Another added: “Dame Darcy I think I just saw your knickers! #Strictly #SCD #StrictlyComeDancing.
While a third added: “Hang on! Did Darcy just flash her knickers? #Strictly,” asking fellow viewers if they’d seen the mistake.
Darcey also had to come between fellow judges Craig Revel Horwood, 53, and Shirley Ballas, 58, as things became quite heated between the pair.
The moment of debate came following Faye Tozer’s, 42, performance of a Viennese Waltz.
Although the former Steps singer topped her scores from last week to get a score of 31 for the performance with her partner Giovanni Pernice, 28, it didn’t stop the judges coming to blows over her dance.
Craig was full of praise for the singer, as he told her: “I think you two both shattered that old fashion Viennese Waltz ballroom thing darling.”
He then hit back at head judge Shirley by telling Faye: “So don’t listen to anything Shirley’s got to say about silly little heel leads,” with the audience applauding the judge’s out of character comments.
The 15 celebrities will now face the public vote for the first time this series, with the scores from last week and this week being combined before the viewer votes are added on top.
Tomorrow night, the first celebrity will be eliminated with the remaining 14 fighting it out to secure their place in the competition.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow night at 7.15pm on BBC One.
