Strictly: Ian Waite FORGETS Shirley Ballas’ name
Ian Waite waved his sparkly wand in Waite's Warm Up, giving his thoughts on the Strictly Come Dancing couples' training so far, but made a slight blunder as he momentarily forgot Shirley Ballas’ name.
Giving Dr Ranj some advice, Ian said: “Do you know what? I think he’s going to look amazing as Aladdin, don’t you?
“And this is light and bouncy and looking very synchronised at this moment in time. What I’d like to see here is… I did spot something.
“I’m so sorry about this, doctor. But he’s just going forward there outside Janette and he should be lowering into this step and he’ll lead.

“But what he’s doing is coming out and he’s leaving the lowering late and going on a toe. Now…”
Ian then paused as Zoe jumped in to fill the gap and replied: “Yes, I know!” as Ian waved his hands in the air.
He continued: “You know, Shirley won’t accept this. Get those heels in where they should be. Lower and heel.”
Ian added: “I forgot who the judge was as I was going to mention it. That’s why we had that dramatic pause.”
Zoe then said: “It’s the finer details that matter! Don't forget Shirley, she'll be furious!”
Later in the episode, Kate Silverton and Aljaž Škorjanec revealed that their upcoming performance has already caused some bickering among the BBC pair.
Strictly Come Dancing pair Kate and Aljaž will perform the Foxtrot to Why Don’t You Do Right this Saturday.
The dancing duo appeared on It Takes Two tonight with host Zoe Ball where they spoke about this Saturday’s “Movie Week spectacular”.
Viewers will recognise the song Why Don’t You Do Right as it was used in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Kate and Aljaž joked they are arguing over which of them will “seductively” dress as Jessica Rabbit.
It Takes Two presenter Zoe warned Strictly fans watching the show at home, saying: “Prepare yourselves viewers!
“Just when we thought things couldn’t get any more seductive, we find out you are dancing the Foxtrot as the iconic Jessica Rabbit!
“How is this going Kate?” as Aljaž interjected with a smile to say: “Beautiful!”

Kate revealed: “When Aljaž told me the first character I said, ‘Hang on, who is Jessica Rabbit here? Because that ain’t going to be me!’”
Dancing professional Aljaž laughed: “I was kind of hoping it was going to be me for a second!”
Kate continued: “The Foxtrot is beautiful. It’s Aljaž’s favourite dance so we really wanted to do that justice.
“But as Jessica Rabbit I am again on my own completely at the beginning.”
Zoe then teased: “Slinking about!” as Kate continued: “I mean, there’s all sorts going on now. I’m doing the long hair now.”
Host Zoe then quizzed: “Who are you being Aljaž? Are you being… Roger Rabbit?”
He replied: “Well yes, we are still having that argument because I really still want to be Jessica Rabbit. So it’s going to be a thing right up until the very last second.”
It Takes Two continues tomorrow on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
