GMB: Piers Morgan says the ‘tension is mounting’
Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid have fronted Good Morning Britain for five days this week to cover the US election but it appeared tensions were rising between the hosts and bosses. After returning from a break, Piers snapped at bosses who were telling him what to do in his ear, insisting he didn’t need any guidance.

“What did you just say Piers Morgan?” Susanna asked as they resumed hosting the show.
Piers hit back: “There’s people in my ear saying, ‘Here’s what you do.’ It’s like presenting my numbers. No!”
“They’re trying to direct a show,” his co-host said defending producers.
Piers continued: “I’ve nearly been here five years!”

“Yeah, but you've never been here on a Friday though,” Susanna teased.
The presenter remarked: “No and the tension is mounting this week.”
It wasn’t the only time Piers became irritated on the show this morning.
He took a swipe at co-host Ben Shephard and his height as he took his position at the news desk.
Susanna remarked she appeared taller than Piers on her chair once again.
But Piers insisted it was down to bosses moving the height of his seat.
“That's not right. They're putting me on Ben Shephard height,” the controversial host stated.
"Is that better?” Susanna asked as he rearranged his chair. “Do you feel your alpha male superiority is restored?”

“I beg your pardon Piers Morgan,” Susanna exclaimed.
Piers stated: “They’re causing a lot of amusement. If you know, you know. I wonder what they taste like.
“Let’s have a little go,” he continued pulling out on of the Yumnuts.
Susanna looked on as he co-host took over the show: “That will keep you quiet for a moment.
“Does you personal trainer advise that you follow a diet of Santa’s Yumnuts because there’s three of them in that packet.
