'That looks hideous!' Lorraine Kelly blasts Meghan and Harry's lifetime movie
LORRAINE KELLY hit out on Thursday as she gave her verdict on the latest trailer for the upcoming film Harry and Meghan: Escaping the Palace.
Lorraine Kelly says the Harry and Meghan film looks 'hideous'
Lorraine Kelly was joined by her showbiz correspondent Ross King on Thursday’s edition of her talk show. The ITV presenter asked Ross to fill her in on all of the gossip from Hollywood but she wasn’t impressed when he showed her the newest trailer for the film depicting Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s decision to step down as senior royals.
Ross introduced a clip of film stars Jordan Dean and Sydney Morton discussing their royal roles.
The pair were explaining how they got into character and perfected Harry and Meghan’s voices.
Ross said: “Sydney Morton and Jordan Dean play the couple in the new movie.
“They’ve given an interview saying how they prepared for the role and Sydney was saying that she looked at Suits bloopers.”

“It’s actually quite an interesting thing from an acting point of view because she wanted to see what Meghan was like very naturally,” he said.
“He wanted to see her off-camera, reacting, how she laughs, it’s actually a very clever way of looking at things so you can get a handle on the person.”
Sydney said: “I had like 30 voice memos that I’d recorded from interviews and I would just listen to them on repeat.
“Even like bloopers because there’s so little footage of Harry and Meghan being relaxed.”
“There was a fair amount of work we had a great accent coach,” Jordan added.
In the trailer, Meghan star Sydney says: “We need to let people hear our truth.”
“They know exactly where we are,” Harry actor Jordan notes in another scene.

“And I have a plan,” Meghan’s character replies.
“Oh god, love them,” Lorraine commented. “That looks hideous, it really does.
“As if their life isn’t insane enough they’ve got that, what a blinking shame.”
Lorraine and Ross briefly addressed Ofcom’s ruling over Piers Morgan’s comments on Meghan Markle following her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The media regulator rejected a record 57,000 complaints about Piers’ criticism of the Duchess of Sussex.
Lorraine said: “Meghan and Harry on the front pages again today obviously that’s to do with Piers Morgan and the Ofcom ruling. The Sun is calling her the ‘Queen of woke.’”
“If there’s a fourth [film about Meghan and Harry’s lives] who will be play Piers in the movie,” Ross joked.
Lorraine airs on ITV on weekdays at 9am.
