OUR YORKSHIRE FARM's Amanda Owen and Helen Skelton have become good friends after working together and the mum-of-nine often offers parenting advice to the Countryfile presenter, who has recently announced her third pregnancy.
Amanda Owen discusses handing more control to her children
Amanda Owen is back with a new series of Our Yorkshire Farm and viewers can watch as she, her husband Clive and their nine children go about the running of Ravenseat Farm. Amanda has worked with Helen Skelton in the past and earlier this year, the mum-of-nine featured on Channel 5 programme Summer on the Farm, which was fronted by Helen and Jules Hudson. However, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Helen opened up about her friendship with Amanda as she admitted they often chat about parenting and their children.
Helen, who announced she was expecting her third child last month, explained Amanda often offers her words of wisdom.
“She is a woman that I can learn a lot from so whenever I see her, I'm always asking her for advice and tips and stuff like that.
“I think that's just the mum ways. You kind of want to know how everyone else does it.”
She continued: “We just talk about our kids and what are the kids doing and who's at what stage and all of that sort of stuff.”

The Countryfile presenter went on to add she also recently issued some advice to Amanda’s eldest son, Ruben.
She added: “We were talking about Ruben as he just started socialising and going out.
“Ironically it is where I used to go out and socialise as a teenager.
“And I’m like, ‘You wanna try here and you wanna try there’.”
Their eldest kids are Raven, 20, who is currently at university, and Reuben, 17, who has just started his apprenticeship.
Their other children are Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, 10, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four.
Helen went on to address the challenges Amanda faces bringing up nine children while running the farm.

The mum-of-two said: “The kids are really nice and normal and well-positioned members of society.”
“It’s not like you’ve got nine feral kids running around.
“She has got lovely kids and a lovely family and a successful business.
“So yeah, I'm not sure how she does it but, I think that's what people are fascinated by.”
Amanda’s Channel 5 reality series, Our Yorkshire Farm, follows the couple and their children as they go about the day-to-day running of the farm.
However, it hasn’t been all plain sailing for the husband and wife who have struggled along the way.
During the programme, the 46-year-old often openly talks about the challenges of farming.
Helen believes the secret to their success is that it “celebrates the hard work of farmers”.
Our Yorkshire Farm airs on Tuesday at 9pm on Channel 5.
