Brendan Cole to form part of Dancing On Ice's second same-sex pair after partner withdraws
BRENDAN Cole will compete in an all-male pairing on Dancing On Ice, after his professional partner Vanessa Bauer tested positive for Covid.
A spokesman for the ITV show, said: "We look forward toVanessa returning to the competition soon.
"Brendan will still perform in this Sunday's show, partnered with professional skater Brendyn Hatfield."
Former Strictly professional Cole, 45, said: "With Vanessa's blessing, I've been given an amazing opportunity to create something fantastic for Musicals Week with Brendyn.
"He's an exceptionally talented skater and I have no doubt we will be able to create something really special for the show! I can't thank him enough for stepping in."
In 2020, Ian "H" Watkins from the band Steps danced with a male pro on the ITV show, while baker John Whaite did the same thing on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing last year.
