The presenter admitted he was opening the "gates of hell" by speaking out on the news programme about allegations made against him on social media.
He said: "I have made errors of judgement in the past but the criminal allegations which have been made against me are simply untrue."
The 40-year-old told GB News viewers he could spend the next two hours speaking about the claims made against him, adding: "But on the advice of my lawyers, I cannot comment further."
"I have been thinking much over the last few days about the current state of social media where any allegation can be made in an attempt to get someone cancelled.
"I think being in the middle of this witch hunt has made me think a lot about the kind of journalist and broadcaster I aspire to be."
He added: "I should be focused on the massive political threats facing this country not on personal attacks.

"We will keep fighting for you because we are a family here, we've been here since day one and we have each other's back," Dan added.
He concluded: "I recognise I am a polarising figure and by speaking out in this way I am opening the gates of hell of my life but social media has become a race to the bottom."
His statement came after the Guardian published a piece claiming the publishers behind The Sun and MailOnline are looking into allegations the GB News host inappropriately offered colleagues thousands of pounds in return for sexual material.
