BBC Breakfast: Charlie blasts Naga for 'not being helpful'
BBC Breakfast host Charlie Stayt snapped at Naga Munchetty for "not being helpful" as he tried to solve a puzzle on Thursday's BBC programme. It came as the show reported on GCHQ's annual Christmas Challenge.
Aimed at testing problem-solving skills, and Naga admitted they are "really hard". As Charlie attempted to give it a go, it seemed he was interrupted by Naga.
"Very kindly, the boffins there have made a bonus challenge exclusively for BBC Breakfast viewers," Naga announced.
The brain teaser was then explained, and when Charlie and Naga reappeared, they didn't seem very pleased.
"I was actually trying to do it then, and you're just constantly telling me I was getting it wrong," Charlie complained to his co-presenter.
"I was writing things down," he continued as Naga awkwardly glanced at the cameras.
Charlie went on: "You were literally just saying, 'No, that's not right, that's not right.'"
"I was being helpful and actually giving you the answers," Naga argued.
Pointing at Charlie's piece of paper, she added: "Because that's not right."

"Well, I've got to try... It's not helpful, is it?" Charlie replied.
"I thought it was helpful..." Naga responded before moving on to break down the puzzle as a fed-up Charlie threw his answers to the side.
Afterwards, Naga asked: "Does that make sense Charlie? You're huffing."
"No, but I can see Ben's [Thompson] coming to do business and I know he's come in with clever answers.
"He's going to say he knows all the answers."
"Well, he probably does know the answers," Naga told Charlie.
"There's nothing wrong with knowing the answers," she added as Charlie fumed: "You've got to give people a chance to just think for a moment."
"You've had 24 hours..." Naga quipped as Charlie silently looked at the cameras.
