Emmerdale fans 'work out' pregnancy bombshell for Charity Dingle as villager makes return
EXCLUSIVE: Emmerdale actress Emma Atkins has addressed the fan rumours that her character Charity Dingle is pregnant.
Emmerdale: Moira admits that she’s a killer to Charity
Emmerdale fans seem to think Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) could be pregnant following her latest storyline in the ITV soap. The pub owner has been struggling to come to terms with the fact she killed someone.
During Friday night's instalment, Charity had a heart-to-heart with Moira Barton (Natali J Robb) after she accidentally shot Chloe Harris' (Jessie Elland) dad Damon (Robert Beck) in a dramatic showdown.
The events unfolded after Damon had held Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) hostage after he hurt Chloe and got her pregnant. To make matters worse, Mack also chose to save Charity following the horrific car crash, which could have killed all three of them last year.
As Charity and Damon fought over the gun he was holding, the trigger accidentally went off and killed the villain. Despite getting away with the shooting, fans have grown concerned over Charity's well-being.
She has also been worried about Mack after Chloe fled the village with his son Reuben, leaving him heartbroken. The farmer has also gone down a dark path because he has started to steal cars with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
Taking to X to share their thoughts on Charity being pregnant again, @DonnaCarroll49 shared: "#emmerdale. Is Charity pregnant or am I seeing things?"
@jacquel68598331 simply agreed: "Think so."
In a recent interview with Express.co.uk and other press, Emma discussed whether Charty could be pregnant.
"I haven’t heard anything and that would be news to me," the actress admitted.
"I can’t even remember how many children I have in the show at the moment! I go: 'Is it three? Is it four? Is it five?' That’s terrible! But no, I don’t think so."
It has also been rumoured that Charity's old flame Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) is returning to the village.

When asked about Vanessa’s return, Emma joked: “That is a question I have been trying to avoid. I get asked that quite a lot.
“I am sure they will have their chemistry in some shape or form because they left on good terms in a way.
“Whether they’ll have a moment again, in soaps it does happen, doesn’t it?
"There’s just a moment where one might be helping the other out and therefore they realise there is still that deep chemistry..it built up over time, didn’t it?"
She added: "And it was very believeable chemistry so who knows, it all depends what the writers want for us.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
