After appearing in five seasons of The Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson has revealed why he may not be doing future seasons of the Prime Video show. It was announced in December that Jeremy, 63, along with co-stars James May and Richard Hammond would be featuring in a final special to mark the end of the series that has lasted for nearly ten years.
Speaking to The Times, Jeremy explained: "I've driven cars higher than anyone else and further north than anyone else. We've done everything you can do with a car. When we had meetings about what to do next, people just threw their arms in the air.
"(The show) is immensely physical and when you're unfit and fat and old, which I am ... Camping in Mauritania was a stretch."
The final special of the show will see the much-loved trio descend on Zimbabwe for no doubt more thrilling content.
James, 61, previously claimed there is an audience for a brand new motoring show, despite walking away from the series.

It comes after the BBC announced it has “rested” its popular show Top Gear after presenter Freddie Flintoff was involved in a terrible crash.
Despite this, motor enthusiast James has claimed that a new car series is just what fans need.
He told The Sun: "If you wanted to make a serious, slightly more consumerish car show there’s never been a better time for it because it’s a very interesting topic.
"What is going to happen to the car, car ownership, attitudes to the car, how we use it, dispose of it, how we power it?

"It’s all interesting stuff, it’s the most interesting time in the car’s history since it was invented. So I can’t believe somewhere or other, a slightly more modern car show won’t emerge."
The trio hosted Top Gear from 2002 to 2021 before going on to host The Grand Tour from 2016 onwards.
The Grand Tour is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
