Sky News' Kay Burley makes a huge blunder as she hits out at technician
Sky breakfast presenter Kay Burley suffered a technical error live on air as she blamed it on the autocue.
Sky News: Kay Burley says 'scroll up autocue'
The veteran broadcaster who has been with the network since its news launch back in 1989, took a swipe at the technical team. Kay appeared frustrated after she was unable to read off her script.
She was heard saying: “Welcome back to the breakfast show on Sky News. Let’s talk about more strong women.” However, she was unable to carry on so briefly paused.
Sitting at her desk in a chic black dress, with her hair freshly blow-dried she hit out at those producing as she couldn’t continue. She then said: “Should we go then?”
Before wilfully adding: “Scroll up autocue." Thankfully the team were quick on their feet and rectified the error.
Viewers took to social media picking up on the blip.
One person said on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Someone is in so much trouble with Kay."

Kay is notorious for keeping her private life away from the public, with her presence online strictly centring around her work.
Often, she is seen sharing behind-the-scenes snaps from Sky's headquarters in Osterley, London.
