ITV Good Morning Britain viewers say same thing as Susanna Reid returns to show
Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid returned to the ITV show on Monday following some time off over Easter.
Good Morning Britain viewers were delighted on Monday morning as host Susanna Reid returned to the ITV show after taking some time off over Easter.
The presenter, 53, marked her return by uploading a selfie on social media with her co-star Ed Balls, 57, writing excitedly: "BACK ON @GMB! Join me and @edballs & the team @ITV."
Many of her 900,000 Twitter followers rushed to the comments to share their joy that the journalist was back on screens. One fan wrote: "So nice to have my Susanna back."
Another echoed: "Welcome back queen of the morning," and a third gushed: "Lovely to see you back."
A fourth wrote: "Glad you’re back. You guys are a great team," as someone else said: "Susanna is back after her well deserved two weeks off #gmb."
Susanna has been away from the show since March 28 while a variety of presenters including Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins filled in.
Announcing her break at the end of her final Thursday show, the mum-of-three told viewers: "That brings us to the end of Good Morning Britain, back tomorrow from 6. I'm off for Easter, please don't panic, will be back in a couple of weeks!"
Her co-host Richard Madeley then chimed in to say: "Lucky old you!"
While she was away, there were comical scenes when Kate Garraway, 56, threw an old-fashioned alarm clock across the studio.

Kate and her co-star Adil Ray explained that the very loud clock was used to "wake up" rock legend Suzi Quatro after she "slept in" the last time she was due to come on the show.
Kate admitted the star "will probably curse me now". A confused Adil, 49, asked: "How's that going to work?" To which Kate replied: "Well, because she'll be listening."
Adil then pointed out: "Well if she is listening, she'll already be up." After a moment of realisation, Kate launched the alarm clock over her shoulder, with the cameras panning in on the item on the floor.
Adil burst into laughter as the camera showed that the glass had cracked and the clock appeared to be broken.
Kate said: "We'll be chatting to [Suzi] later. Honestly, you try your hardest, you make an effort... It's still going off."
The alarm could be heard in the background as Adil continued to laugh about the situation.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays between 6am and 9am on ITV and ITVX.
