Bridgerton will soon be returning for its third outing so who is going to be joining the romantic drama for part one?
The wait is almost over with the love story between Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) ready to unfold.
As well as these two lead stars, a number of other new additions will be making their debut in Netflix’s hit show following a two-year wait.
Who will be joining the cast of Bridgerton season 3 part 1?
Francesca Bridgerton - Hannah Dodd
Francesca hasn’t often been seen in seasons one and two, with her absence usually explained by her being out of the country practicing piano.
But her love for music is to take a backseat as she is next to marry following her older brother Colin, although, it may prove difficult given she is a lot more reserved than her siblings.

When Francesca has appeared in Bridgerton, she was played by actress Ruby Stokes who left the show to star in Netflix’s Lockwood & Co.
Instead, Hannah Dodd will be portraying Francesca, having previously played young Sophie in Anatomy Of A Scandal and Sarah Chapman in Enola Holmes 2.
Lord Debling - Sam Phillips
Lord Debling is going to be a potential suitor for Penn, showing interest in the Lady Whistledown writer early on in the series.
Deadline states that while he has “unusual interests”, “with wealth and a noble title to back up his eccentricities, he’ll have no shortage of interest from young ladies this season”.

Lord Debling is played by actor Sam Phillips who is probably best recognised as the Queen’s Equerry in Netflix’s The Crown.
Some of his other roles have been in This Is England, Grantchester, Father Brown and Embers.
Speaking of Lord Ebling’s interest in Penn, actress Couglan told Netflix: “It was really fun for Penelope to have a suitor, I was so excited for it. About damn time!
“What is really sweet about their story is that he does give her confidence in herself.
“He shows her that she’s worthy of love and helps her to believe that.”
Why did Harry and Meghan make a Netflix series about their life?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves at the centre of public attention since they took a step back from senior royal duties in 2020.
In a trailer for the Netflix series about them, Prince Harry told viewers that “no one sees what’s happening behind closed doors” in a reference to how their lives may differ from what the public think about the couple. Meghan adds: “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”.
Reports suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could receive up to $100 million for making the show, although this has been disputed and the true figure is unknown.
Marcus Anderson - Daniel Francis
Described as a “charismatic presence who lights up any room he enters”, Marcus Anderson does attract attention when he comes to town.
Little is known about him ahead of season three but scenes have been shown of him with both Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) and Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell).
Actor Daniel Francis has been in Apple TV+’s Liaison, Netflix’s Stay Close, as well as Small Axe and Once Upon A Time.
Lady Tilley Arnold - Hannah New
Also set to join the fold is Lady Tilley Arnold who is a "firebrand widow" who "enjoys the privileges and power that come with being at the helm of her late husband's estate".
As of yet, it isn't know how her story is going to play out but she has been spotted filming with Benedict Bridgerton star Luke Thompson.
Actress Hannah New will be remembered as Eleanor Guthrie in Black Sails and Rosalinda Fox in The Time In Between.
Bridgerton season 3 premieres on Thursday, May 16, on Netflix.
