This Morning fans are calling for Cat Deeley to be replaced just months after she took over the helm of the ITV show. The 47-year-old TV presenter joined co-star Ben Shephard as they replaced Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield earlier this year.
However, fans are now calling for a dynamic duo to replace the former SMTV host, as they called out some of Cat's "annoying" habits. Today, (May 22) she got overly excited as This Morning featured a segment about Shirley Bassey's jewels.
Trying on some of the prestigious jewellery, Cat beamed in joy. She was delighted as she got the chance to place one of the beautiful pieces around her neck.
While Cat was clearly having the time of her life, viewers at home were less impressed. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) they complained that she "was the wrong person for the job" as she "interrupted too much" and had "no chemistry with Ben".
One social media user voiced their opinion as they said: "Cat was completely the wrong choice for this job. She’s not settling in and getting worse.
"Talking over people, interrupting, zero empathy or rapport with guests. Ben is definitely getting increasingly frustrated with her. Epic fail. #ThisMorning"
Another added: "I feel such an uncomfortable tension between Ben and Cat. If I'm right it's a shame because neither will be enjoying their new job! #ThisMorning". A third penned: "Cat really needs to calm down and let other people talk #ThisMorning"
Others agreed that the partnership just wasn't working. One fan said: "Ben is definitely getting fed up with the Cat Deeley show, especially during the diamond and cookery items. He can't get a word in #thismorning"

While fans aired their frustrations, others shared an idea for who should step in on the ITV show instead - Rob Rinder and Rylan Clark.
Someone posted: "I said before Rob Rinder and Rylan should present this they’d be great #ThisMorning."
Meanwhile, another fan agreed, saying: "Rylan and Rob to present this morning #ThisMorning". A fourth posted: "Should get Rylan and Rob to present #thismorning."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
