Eamonn Holmes thanks GB News viewers for support
Eamonn Holmes "lost his trademark features" in his first return to TV following his split from Ruth Langsford, claims a body language expert.
The veteran broadcaster, 64, returned to GB News on Tuesday (May 28), just days after it was announced he had split with Ruth after 14 years of marriage. Eamonn kicked off his show by issuing a brief statement regarding the sad news.
Celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman analysed Eamonn's body language as he thanked fans for their support. Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, Inbaal said: "Eamonn's body language is very uncomplicated while he expresses his appreciation for the viewers' support - we can see a lot of sadness in his facial expression.
"It's heartbreaking to watch the normally jovial entertainer looking not himself, as his trademark bright features are pulled down."

The body language expert continued: "Known for his jolly smile - cheekbones rounded, eyes wide open, eyebrows raised, Eamonn's sadness now touches every inch of his face, cheeks flattened, eyes looking downwards, eyebrows lowered.
Touching upon the effect Eamonn's divorce is having, Inbaal added: "Looking downwards is very common when feeling sad, it's as if the seasoned presenter's optimism has temporarily left him."
Eamonn thanked fans for the support they had shown for both him and Ruth, which Inbaal found was genuine. She went on: "As Eamonn thanks everyone, his hands are clasped in front of his body, which is a protective gesture.
"We can see how genuine he is, with one short, tiny gesture - as he says the words ‘support for both of us’ he quickly nods twice."

Inbaal concluded: "This is a show of gratitude for the love of his fans, but it's no ordinary nod. Eamonn tilts his head for these nods, which signifies listening - he's paying attention to all the kindness shown both to him and to his estranged wife."
In his brief statement on GB News, Eamonn said: "Just before we move on we'd just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated."
Former This Morning presenters Eamonn and Ruth began dating in 1996 before tying the knot in 2010. They share a son called Jack, 22, together, while Eamonn has three children; Declan, 35, Rebecca, 33 and Niall, 31, with his ex-wife Gabrielle.
