Worried Our Yorkshire Farm fans issue plea to Reuben Owen as he addresses brother Sidney

Worried Our Yorkshire Farm fans have issued the same plea to Reuben Owen as is latest spinoff series, Reuben: Life In The Dales ended on Channel 5.

The final episode of Reuben Owen’s series saw the 20-year-old eldest son of Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen and now-ex husband Clive Owen reunite with some familiar faces.

Reuben’s brothers Sidney Owen and Miles Owen both came to help Reuben with his farming business even as the clan of Owen siblings hit some speedbumps, including a broken down tractor and a leaking hole in the floor.

Reuben pulled a surprise on his brother Sidney Owen, who hasn’t been seen on our screens since Our Yorkshire Farm was axed by Channel 5 following Amanda and Clive Owen’s split.

Reuben told Sidney how he’d bought him a go-kart he had seen at auction and was planning to teach him how to drive - once they’d fixed it.

A thrilled Sidney told viewers: “I’m quite looking forward to to working with my brother. I’m glad he’s got it and I’m quite thankful for it, it’s really nice.”

Reuben was full of praise for his little brother too.

Reuben said: “He’s always been very interested since he was very small, he’s messed around with all sorts, motorbikes and tractors and stuff, and you give him a job, he’ll get it done. He’s definitely gonna be some boy by the time he gets to mine or Tom’s age.”

Fans are worried though because Channel 5 has been tight lipped about a second series of Life In The Dales and no series 2 announcement has yet been made.
