Emmerdale is set for another explosive week in the village. In forthcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Rose Jackson (played by Christine Tremarco) puts the wheels in motion for her revenge plot against unsuspecting Kim Tate (Claire King).

When Rose arrived in the village earlier this year, it quickly transpired that she had been married to Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), and had walked out on him and their young daughter Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).

But as Rose also has a connection with Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly), the pair plans to take Kim down.

In upcoming scenes, Rose is left panicked when Ruby pressures her to carry out their plan. However, the duo are almost caught out by a confused Will and Rose tries to cover it up by moving in for a kiss leaving Will stunned.

Will quickly pulls away but Rose is unsure if he will tell Kim. Later, Rose is upset to see Will tell Kim that it's time for her to leave their home.

In retaliation, Rose deliberately causes mayhem by setting a horse loose. However, more mystery is teased when she receives a cryptic message and heads to the outskirts of the village, where she meets a dealer who hands over a vial of tranquilizer telling her to await further instruction.

Despite secretly plotting a sinister plan to spike Will's drink in order to entrap him, Rose is left overjoyed to learn grandson Evan has been discharged from hospital while her estranged daughter Dawn refers to her as 'mum' for the first time, leaving Rose conflicted about following through with her dreadful plan.

Later, it appears Rose goes through with the plan, and just as Will's about to sip the spiked drink, Dawn and Kim return home with two more drinks poured.

As Rose loses track of which drink is spiked, she is left panicked as her dark plan goes badly wrong.

But the next day, a mysterious figure watches him, and when Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) stumbles upon an intruder in the house, it turns out to be the banished Ella (Paula Lane), who left the village after it was revealed she had murdered someone when she was a child.

Ella admits she came back to collect the rest of her things, but Mandy is torn as Ella leaves. Later, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) calls an ambulance to alert them of a crash on a country road involving Ella's car. Will Ella survive?
