The Apprentice 2013: Lord Alan Sugar picks Luisa Zissman and Leah Totton to reach final
LUISA Zissman and Leah Totton reached the final of The Apprentice 2013 tonight after Jordan Poulton, Neil Clough and Francesca MacDuff-Varley were fired at the interview stage.
Cake shop owner Zissman, 25, and doctor Totton, 24, will go head-to-head to win a £250,000 investment and the chance to become Lord Alan Sugar's business partner.
The all girl final was decided after all candidates had to present their business ideas to some of Lord Sugar's most trusted business advisors.
Lord Sugar: "Difficult decision ladies, one I may live to regret. But Francesca you're fired. I wish you the best of luck."
Clough, who has put in a series of strong performances throughout the show, surprisingly was fired despite Lord Sugar admitting he was his favourite candidate.
The 32-year-old football centre manager was told his business plan was not viable and refused to back down.
Sugar told him: "If this was all about me giving someone a job, I'd give you a job tomorrow. But coming into business with me, I'm afraid not my friend."
The business plan for Zissman is a branded baking ingredients website while Totton wants to launch a non-surgical cosmetic treatments clinic.
